Kindergarten

Kindergarten 5 years old:

Our Kindergarten program will provide your child with a solid foundation on which to build upon. We focus on the intellectual, social, emotional and biblical needs of your child in order to give them the education they need to grow.

In our kindergarten program, classroom sizes are small. We want to focus on each child and provide individualized learning opportunities. We are able to give each student the attention they need to prosper in the classroom. Our center uses the Abeka© Christian Curriculum, teaching children to read and share our love of the written word. Children have access to plenty of books to explore and expand their knowledge.

Along with reading, our students will learn math, science, social studies and language arts.  We study biblical stories, giving your child a solid foundation in their faith. Our curriculum is accelerated, as we want your child to find the transition from kindergarten to first grade an easy one.

Our faith based kindergarten program gives children a better relationship with God. Kids have the opportunity to ask questions as they hear stories from the bible that will enhance what they learn during their time at church.  Our kindergarten program is perfect for the children of families who have made God an integral part of their lives.

Children in our program learn social skills, and develop problem solving skills that will improve their overall learning. Social skills are important at this age, and we focus on sharing, boundaries, and how to build friendships. With our small class sizes, many children form solid relationships that last beyond kindergarten.

Children who attend a faith focused kindergarten are better able to manage peer relationships. Respect is taught in the classroom and children are encouraged to work out problems with a focus on kindness and empathy. Kindergarten is an important time for children, and it’s time to work with a program that will help your child grow.
