Meet Our Director
Hello! My name is Octavia Johnson, and I was inspired to work in early childhood education by my passion for nurturing children, empowering educators, and supporting families each day. I believe the early years are the most important in shaping a child’s future, and I am committed to creating a positive, enriching environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Just as important to me is uplifting fellow educators and building strong partnerships with families so that every child receives the care and guidance they deserve.
At the center, I am excited to bring a foundation of positive experiences for children, parents, and staff alike. I believe in creating a joyful and supportive environment that fosters growth while strengthening trusting relationships. One of my favorite children’s books is Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud, because it teaches the importance of kindness and daily happiness. I also enjoy art, which has always been my favorite subject and continues to inspire my creativity and self-expression.
